The Job Development Specialist will build relationships with local employers, assess opportunities, and tailor pathways that align with each candidate's strengths and goals. The role is full-time, 35 hours per week, with emphasis on outreach, collaboration with support teams, and promoting inclusive hiring practices to expand

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in job development or employment services.
• Familiarity with customized employment practices is a plus.
• Strong commitment to inclusive employment and belief in potential of individuals with IDD.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with employers and partners.

Responsabilidades

• Identify employment goals with individuals and support teams to develop pathways to work.
• Build and maintain partnerships with area employers to identify opportunities.
• Conduct employer outreach through calls, visits, referrals, and networking.
• Collaborate with individuals and support teams throughout the job search process.
• Identify opportunities that promote independence, inclusion, and meaningful participation in the workforce.
• Advocate for inclusive employment practices and demonstrate the value of a diverse workforce.
