The Arc Lexington is seeking a Job Developer to collaborate with community employers and create meaningful job opportunities. You will foster relationships, attend sessions to expand prospects, and manage program paperwork while developing new roles and providing employment readiness training.

You will help individuals prepare for competitive employment by coaching on work ethics, attitude, and professional appearance, and you’ll support effective communication among team members and supervisors.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience in employment skills training preferred.
• Valid NYS driver’s license required.

What does a Job Developer do?

In this role, you would collaborate with community employers to create job opportunities, fostering positive relationships and attending sessions to expand job prospects. The Job Developer develops various types of jobs, provides employment readiness training, and manages program paperwork. Helping people prepare for competitive employment, including work ethics, attitude, and professional appearance, is crucial. Coaching people in their roles and supporting communication among coworkers and supervisors are key responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A bachelor's or associate's degree is preferred.
• Experience in employment skills training is preferred.
• A valid NYS driver's license that meets Agency standards is required.
