Job summary

  • Knowledge of employment services, disability accommodations, ADA regulations, Vocational Rehabilitation services, and workforce development practices.
  • Strong communication, organization, documentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of 50 or higher.
  • Assist clients with resume writing, cover letters, interview preparation, and job search strategies.
  • Educate clients on workplace rights, ADA accommodations, disability benefits, and available community resources.
  • Develop relationships with local employers and identify employment opportunities for clients.
  • Conduct job development, placement, and retention services to support long-term employment success.
  • Maintain accurate case notes, reports, and documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, community partners, and service providers to coordinate client services.
  • Attend job fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activities to promote employment opportunities.

Regulatory & Credentialing Requirements
  • Must be able to obtain Fingerprint Clearance Card within 90 days of hire.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
  • Must maintain compliance with all required agency training, credentialing, and continuing education requirements.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and other applicable federal, state, and agency regulations.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance may be required for community-based client services.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use a computer for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds when necessary.
  • Ability to travel within the community to meet with clients, employers, and community partners.
Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based with opportunities to meet clients in community settings or through virtual appointments as needed. Flexibility, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills are essential to supporting clients and fostering successful employment outcomes.
