Job description

The Property Manager is responsible for the complete operational and financial oversight of a multifamily property. Primary responsibilities include maintaining budgeted physical and economic occupancy, managing financial operations such as rent collection and timely invoice approval, formulating annual budgets and business plans, and overseeing all on-site staff, training, motivation, and maintenance activities. The role requires a minimum of 5+ years of multifamily experience as a Property Manager, with a focus on strong leadership, customer service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assist in the formulation of budgets and business plans for each upcoming calendar year
• Maintain budgeted physical and economic occupancy throughout the year
• Ensure all rents are collected when due and posted promptly
• Constant vendor/contractor communications concerning work scheduling and billing
• Approve and oversee the timely submission of all property invoices
• Hire, train, motivate, and supervise all on-site staff to achieve the operational goals of your property
• Conduct ongoing training with staff and regular staff meetings
• Maintain a positive customer service attitude and provide top-notch customer service to all residents, prospects, and vendors
• Attend resident retention activities
• Monitor all maintenance activitiesPhysically walk and inspect the property on a regular basis
