Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• Two years of higher education (48 credit hours) required.
• Must obtain NC commercial driver's license with passenger and bus endorsements.
• CDL with P and S Endorsement required; bus driving ability essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide job skill training, job coaching and job development for OCS program students.
• Identify and develop community-based vocational training and paid work sites.
• Develop task analyses and individualized training plans for students.
• Supervise job skills training on sites and monitor performance.
• Conduct vocational assessments to guide career interests and placement.
• Collaborate with teachers on student strengths, needs, and interventions.
• Support teachers at IEP meetings with input on progress and interests.
• Assist students with job searching, readiness, and interview processes; maintain records.
• Promote self-determination and work-related behaviors; participate in staff development.
• Transport students during school hours using district transportation program.
