Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 48 hours of college level coursework; GPA 2.0 or WorkKeys Certification.
• Two years of experience working with children preferred or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively with parents, schools and district staff.
• Willingness to undergo further training and to use a computer.

Responsibilities

• Gives group instruction and provides individualized instruction per EC teacher.
• Prepare visual aids and instructional materials; proctor tests.
• Assist with toileting, handwashing, eating and maintaining hygiene.
• Record student behavior and file data as required.
• Monitor behavior and report to EC teacher or principal.
