Community Options, Inc. is hiring a part-time Job Coach in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The role involves supervising and training individuals with developmental disabilities to acquire job skills and routines, using best practices and assistive technology as needed.

The position offers about 10 hours per week with starting pay of $16.80 per hour. You will work in a community-based employment setting, documenting progress and coordinating with families, staff, and employers.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years’ full-time work experience in employment or related field
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
• Ability to analyze a job and break it into manageable components
• Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in a crisis situation
• Ability to present ideas and factual data in a clear concise manner
• Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals
• Ability to read and write English
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing

• Accurately complete all documentation
• Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned
• Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation

is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.

We are now hiring a Part-Time Job Coach in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The Job Coach uses best practices and technology within a community-based employment setting. The Job Coach will supervise and train individuals with developmental disabilities on how to acquire the skills needed to perform specific tasks, work routines, and personal life activities that are critical to successful employment.

Starting Pay: $16.80hr

Schedule: about 10 hours a week
