ALSO in Medford, Oregon seeks an Employment Professional (Job Coach) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at work through on-the-job training, advocacy, and skill building. The role focuses on mentorship, relationship-building with employers, and ensuring successful employment matches.

Starting pay is $19.00 to $20.50 per hour, with paid training, holidays, comprehensive insurance, retirement plan, and generous leave.

Qualifications

• Be dependable and punctual; able to travel to multiple sites within a workday.
• A valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle are required.
• Be able to lift, transfer, push/pull, maneuver 50 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Prior experience in I/DD support services is preferred but not required.
• Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.

Responsibilities

• On-the-Job Mentorship: Provide employment training and mentorship with hands-on support to foster confidence and independence.
• Relationship Building: Cultivate supportive connections with individuals, employers, and community partners.
• Compliance & Documentation: Maintain records, timekeeping, and progress updates, reporting changes to the team.
• Advocacy: Collaborate with families and providers to ensure accommodations and successful employer relationships.
