Job summary

PathPoint is seeking a PART‑TIME Job Coach Floater for the Camarillo, Oxnard, and Ventura areas. You will provide instruction, support, and supervision to adults with mild to moderate disabilities inside and outside the workplace. The schedule varies; flexibility for nights and weekends is required. Paid training and certifications provided.

You may be assigned to other programs in addition to coaching, reinforcing independence and self-sufficiency through individualized plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA/BS in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience supporting or instructing individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to pass Live Scan background check, TB screening, and health screening.
• Valid driver's license with 5+ years driving history and vehicle with current registration/insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with individuals, families, social workers, and employers.
• Optimistic attitude and ability to give encouraging verbal feedback regularly.
• Strong computer skills including MS Office, email, and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Accompany individuals to work sites, observe abilities, and identify areas for improvement with feedback.
• Coach and counsel individuals on workplace issues and advocate for them.
• Assist individuals in completing time cards, time-off requests, tax forms, and benefits enrollment.
• Maintain relationships with employers and workplace supervisors as liaison.
• Help develop and implement individualized plans toward self-sufficiency.
• Participate in meetings and discussions regarding individual progress.
• Maintain daily logs and reports.

PathPoint is seeking a PART‑TIME Job Coach Floater to join our Employment Services team in the Camarillo, Oxnard and Ventura areas. As a Job Coach, you will provide instruction, support, and supervision to adults with mild to moderate disabilities inside and outside the workplace. The schedule varies; flexibility for nights and weekends is required. Paid training, First Aid and CPR certification are provided. In addition to coaching, you may be assigned to other programs.

Responsibilities

• Accompany individuals to various work sites, observe their abilities, and identify areas for improvement. Provide feedback and assistance to increase productivity and encourage positive work behavior.
• Coach and counsel individuals on workplace issues, and advocate for them when needed.
• Assist individuals in completing work‑related paperwork such as time cards, time‑off requests, tax forms, and benefits enrollment.
• Maintain relationships with employers and workplace supervisors, and act as liaison.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized plans to help participants work more independently toward self‑sufficiency.
• Actively participate in meetings and discussions regarding individual progress.
• Maintain daily logs and reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA/BS in Education, Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• Prior experience supporting or instructing individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to pass Live Scan DOJ fingerprint background check, TB screening, and basic health screening.
• Valid driver's license with at least 5‑year driving history, satisfactory record, and a vehicle with current registration and insurance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with individuals with disabilities, family members, social workers, employers, and others.
• Optimistic attitude and ability to give encouraging verbal feedback regularly.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office, email, and Internet.

Compensation and Benefits

Position pays $22.75 per hour (range $21.14–$23.36 per hour) plus mileage reimbursement. Benefits include paid sick time, 403(b) retirement savings plan with employer match, free Employee Assistance Program, wellness program with cash rewards, and housing assistance.
