OPARC is seeking a Job Coach-Dishwasher in Montclair, CA, a role that blends coaching participants with disability in a dishroom and performing dishwasher duties. The position pays $21.50 per hour and supervises three participants, requiring a valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Please Note:
This position will be working as both a Job Coach coaching participants in a dish room in the Claremont Colleges as well as filling the role of a dishwasher. The shifts are 8AM - 4:15PM days may vary, one weekend day per week will be assigned. The pay for this position is $21.50 per hour. This position will be supervising 3 participants and transporting these participants to and from the job site. The job is intended to mainly use an OPARC vehicle but will require the Job Coach to maintain a personal vehicle that is registered, insured, and that can pass an inspection.

The Job Coach provides direct support, training, and guidance to individuals with disabilities in various employment and vocational settings. This role involves assessing individual strengths and challenges, delivering personalized coaching, and promoting skill development to support successful employment outcomes. The Job Coach collaborates with employers, case managers, and other stakeholders to ensure appropriate accommodations, maintain compliance with service plans, and foster inclusive work environments. Responsibilities also include accurate documentation, safety monitoring, and modeling appropriate workplace behavior to help individuals achieve independence and long-term job retention.
