Job summary

Via of the Lehigh Valley is hiring a Job Coach-Direct Support Professional to support Small Group Employment sites in Bethlehem and Allentown, PA. You will mentor individuals with disabilities, helping them succeed, build confidence, and gain independence in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

No experience? Paid training is provided, with a wage of $17–$18/hour and potential to earn an extra $1.75/hour after NADSP ladder levels are completed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment supporting individuals with disabilities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and travel in the community.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, advocate, and guide individuals with disabilities to succeed in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Help team members master essential job tasks and build self-confidence.
• Participate in paid training and NADSP Career Ladder progression.

Your support will empower team members to master essential job tasks, build self-confidence, and achieve greater independence.

No experience? No problem - we provide **paid training** to make sure you feel ready and supported.

• Via is now offering an increased pay rate of $17-$18/hour determined by education level.** Additionally, earn up to $1.75 more per hour by completing all three levels of the National Alliance of Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) Career Ladder Program.

• Full-Time Monday through Friday schedule. Weekends OFF!

Position Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work in a variety of settings and function in an ever-changing environment.
• Standing, sitting, lifting, walking is required daily.
• Must have a valid driver's license, personal vehicle and appropriate vehicle insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
• Traveling in the community is required.
• Flexibility in work hours is required to meet department demands, including availability for evening.
• Use of technology platforms such as Setworks, Paylocity, Microsoft Office, and email is required daily.
• Ability to adapt to ch nging schedules while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
• Must be flexible and able to adapt to a variety of environments.
