Job summary

Springboro High School seeks a dedicated Job Coach to assist individuals with developmental disabilities in acquiring work maturity skills and securing competitive employment. You will provide ongoing support at community sites and within the school, focusing on individualized goals toward independence.

Responsibilities include modeling professional work behavior, documenting progress against IEP objectives, ensuring safety, and maintaining positive relationships with participants and staff.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Educational Aide Certificate (may be obtained after employment).
• Must possess valid Ohio driver's license and able to be van certified.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Consistently model appropriate work maturity skills and hold consumers to the same expectations.
• Provide services to participants without discrimination and monitor performance.
• Maintain documentation on participant work performance related to their IEP.
• Ensure safety in the work environment and adhere to program policies.
• Attend workshops and professional meetings as required.
