Job description

BR Design is an award winning interior design firm with a focus on corporate interiors. Established in 1985, our diverse client list includes landlords, tech and media startups as well as financial institutions and many others, with their projects ranging from 5,000 to 150,000 square feet and are primarily based in New York City.

The job captain would be responsible for working with the design team and project managers in the development and production of the construction documents, coordinating with the project consultants and contractors, conducting field surveys and verifying existing conditions, and maintaining the project files.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A degree in architecture or interior design
  2. Experience in commercial interiors or related fields
  3. Recent experience in New York
  4. Familiarity with local building codes and construction standards
  5. Proficiency in recent versions of AutoCAD/Rhino/Revit and other software
