This role is part of the Lexus of Jacksonville dealership, a family‑owned and operated business that values safety, integrity, courtesy, presentation, and efficiency. The technician will provide a luxury experience to both internal and external customers, ensuring the highest level of customer service and relationship building.

Pay Range

Base pay: $56,000.00/yr – $136,000.00/yr (actual pay based on skills and experience)

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership procedures.
• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed of any additional service needed and provide an estimate of time required for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Service Technician experience required.
• A‑level qualification, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
• Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Basic computer skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment and be a team player.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor‑vehicle driving record according to dealership guidelines.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications and operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
