Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a JLVC Network Engineer to support the MTCCS II program.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent education
• Minimum of six (6) years’ related experience in network architecture design, implementation, and management
• Must understand RMF methodology and Certification & Accreditation process and RMF Cybersecurity tasks
• CCNA Security certification
• Top Secret/SCI clearance required
• Experience applying network patches and STIGs and performing RMF Cybersecurity tasks

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement, and oversee classified and unclassified WAN and LAN networks for exercises, training events, and distributed operations
• Coordinate network design and operational responsibilities with MTCs, training sites, and external organizations
• Configure and install network equipment and circuits; assist with activation
• Troubleshoot TCP/IP, multicast, and UDP traffic; encrypted tunneling devices and connections
• Apply system updates, patches, STIGs, and RMF cybersecurity tasks
• Monitor performance, conduct backups, and perform recovery testing
• Develop network documentation for Cisco devices and support
• Provide timely troubleshooting to minimize operational impact
