E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a motivated Jira Developer to join our Washington, DC team as a full-time employee. The role focuses on advanced Jira/JSM development, automation, and integrations across Data Center and Cloud environments.

The candidate will design and build custom functionality, automate workflows, and ensure scalable performance while supporting reporting and ITSM processes. This position requires a TS clearance and a CS degree with 8+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance with capability to obtain SCI/CI Poly if needed.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study.
• 8+ years of experience

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Jira and Jira Service Management solutions.
• Develop Groovy scripts and REST API integrations for Jira/JSM.
• Configure workflows, transitions, field configurations, and screens.
• Develop and optimize JQL queries and scripted searches.
• Build object models with Jira Assets (Insight) and integrations.
• Write SQL queries for reporting, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
• Ensure cross‑DC and cross‑cloud compatibility of solutions.
• Provide documentation for custom development and integration patterns.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to scripting, APIs, and databases.

E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a motivated and results-driven Jira Developer be a full-time employee in Washington, DC to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team.

Position Overview

The Jira Developer designs, builds, and maintains advanced Jira and Jira Service Management solutions, focusing on custom development, automation, and extensibility across Jira Data Center and Jira Cloud. This role emphasizes coding, scripted customization, and system integrations to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions.

• Develop custom functionality using Groovy (ScriptRunner), Java, and REST API integrations to extend Jira and JSM capabilities.
• Build and maintain complex automation scripts, post‑functions, listeners, validators, and conditions supporting key business workflows.
• Design, configure, and programmatically manage workflows, transitions, issue types, issue type schemes, screen schemes, field configurations, custom fields, and context management.
• Integrate Jira and JSM with external systems using REST APIs, JSON payloads, and structured data transformations.
• Work with Jira Assets (formerly Insight) to build custom object models, automation rules, and integrations across ITSM processes.
• Write optimized JQL queries, perform bulk operations, and support scripted searches and logic.
• Develop SQL queries and work with underlying databases to support reporting, troubleshooting, and performance analysis (Jira Data Center).
• Build advanced solutions that operate consistently across Jira Data Center and Jira Cloud, including migrating or adapting functionality when needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to custom scripting, workflow logic, API integrations, and database interactions.
• Provide documentation for all custom development, technical configurations, and integration patterns.

Required Qualifications
