Job summary

Aether Aerospace is seeking a Jira Developer/Administrator to administer, maintain, and enhance self-hosted Jira and Confluence environments in support of the Cloud One program. You will configure workflows, automation, permissions, dashboards, plugins, and reporting solutions while ensuring system reliability, security, governance, and alignment with Agile and SAFe processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of Jira/Confluence administration experience.
3+ years hands-on Jira/Confluence administration in an enterprise environment.
Experience with Atlassian installations, migrations, or environment consolidations.
Experience with AWS-hosted Atlassian integrations.
Active DoD clearance required.
DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level II certification.
At least one cloud certification.

Responsibilities

Administer and maintain self-hosted Jira and Confluence environments.
Configure workflows, screens, fields, permissions, dashboards, filters, and JQL queries.
Develop automation using Jira Automation and ScriptRunner.
Manage users, groups, roles, permissions, and security controls.
Perform backups, re-indexing, patching, and upgrades.
Support Jira/Confluence migrations and integrations across enterprise.
Develop dashboards and reporting for leadership and program stakeholders.
Ensure governance, security, and alignment with Agile/SAFe practices.
