The Opportunity
CACI is seeking a Technology Data Analyst to support Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF 401). The role involves technical research, evaluation of emerging technologies, and providing analytical support to enhance Counter‑Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C‑UAS) operations. Responsibilities include assessing commercial and government technologies, evaluating operational effectiveness, and supporting acquisition decisions through data‑driven analysis and technical recommendations. The analyst will use tools such as Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir, Power BI, AI‑enabled analytical tools, and open‑source research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct technical research and analysis of emerging C‑UAS technologies, sensors, effectors, command and control systems, artificial intelligence, autonomy, and related mission capabilities.
- Utilize MSS, Palantir, Power BI, Python, and AI‑enabled analytical tools to evaluate technology performance, operational effectiveness, and mission relevance.
- Monitor commercial industry, government research, academia, and defense technology developments to identify emerging capabilities applicable to C‑UAS operations.
- Analyze technical specifications, system architectures, engineering documentation, and operational performance data to assess technology maturity and mission suitability.
- Support operational assessments, experimentation events, technology demonstrations, and capability evaluations through technical analysis and reporting.
- Develop comparative assessments, technology roadmaps, capability gap analyses, and recommendations supporting acquisition strategies and capability development.
- Evaluate system interoperability, integration risks, technical limitations, and operational impacts of proposed technologies across the C‑UAS enterprise.
- Collaborate with engineers, operators, acquisition professionals, scientists, intelligence analysts, and mission stakeholders to identify technology requirements and recommend innovative solutions.
- Develop dashboards, technical reports, executive briefings, white papers, and analytical products that communicate complex technical information to senior military and civilian leadership.
- Leverage artificial intelligence tools, machine learning applications, and automated research capabilities to accelerate technical analysis and technology assessments.
- Support requirements development, market research, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), acquisition planning, and technology transition activities.
- Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, operational requirements, and evolving UAS threats to inform future capability development.
- Ensure technical assessments comply with applicable security, data governance, and information assurance requirements.
- Identify opportunities to improve technology evaluation methodologies, analytical workflows, and innovation processes supporting organizational objectives.
Qualifications – Required
- Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
- BA/BS with 4+ years; AA/AS with 8+ years; or HS/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience conducting technical research, technology assessments, capability evaluations, or systems analysis.
- Proficiency with Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir, or similar enterprise data integration and analytics platforms.
- Experience developing dashboards, technical reports, and analytical visualizations using Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
- Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, scripting, or technical research activities.
- Experience leveraging AI‑enabled tools, large language models (LLMs), or advanced analytics platforms to support technology assessments and decision‑making.
- Knowledge of systems engineering principles, technology readiness levels (TRLs), systems integration, and capability development processes.
- Experience analyzing technical documentation, engineering specifications, operational test data, and performance metrics.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to produce technical documentation, executive briefings, white papers, and analytical reports.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and analytical findings to senior military and civilian leadership.
- Proven collaboration skills with multidisciplinary engineering, acquisition, operational, and analytical teams in dynamic mission environments.
Qualifications – Desired
- Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Homeland Security, or Counter‑Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C‑UAS) organizations.
- Familiarity with C‑UAS technologies, UAS platforms, sensors, radars, RF systems, electro‑optical/infrared systems, command and control architectures, and defeat mechanisms.
- Experience supporting operational experimentation, technology demonstrations, test and evaluation, or capability development initiatives.
- Knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle, JCIDS, DOTMLPF‑P, Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), and systems engineering processes.
- Experience supporting CJADC2, data fusion, common operating picture development, or operational decision‑support systems.
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments, AI‑enabled technologies, digital engineering, Model‑Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), or autonomous systems.

Proposed Salary Range: $86,600 – $181,800
