Job summary

CACI is seeking a Technology Data Analyst to support Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF 401). The role focuses on technical research, evaluating emerging technologies, and providing data-driven support for acquisition decisions and capability development.

The analyst will use MSS, Palantir, Power BI, Python, and AI tools to assess technology maturity, deliver analytical products, and communicate findings to senior government and civilian leadership within the C-UAS enterprise.

Qualifications

  • Active clearance required (Top Secret/SCI).
  • Experience conducting technical research, tech assessments, or systems analysis.
  • Experience with MSS, Palantir, or similar analytics platforms.
  • Experience creating dashboards/reports using Power BI or similar.
  • Proficiency in Python for data analysis/automation.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools/LLMs for tech assessments.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering, TRLs, and systems integration.
  • Ability to communicate complex findings to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research and analysis of C-UAS technologies and capabilities.
  • Evaluate performance using MSS, Palantir, Power BI, Python, and AI tools.
  • Monitor industry and gov research for emerging capabilities.
  • Assess technical docs, architectures, and performance data.
  • Support experiments, tech demos, and capability evaluations.
  • Develop technology roadmaps and gap analyses for acquisitions.
  • Evaluate interoperability and risks across the C-UAS enterprise.
  • Collaborate with engineers, acquisition professionals, and analysts.
  • Produce dashboards, reports, and briefing materials for senior leaders.
  • Leverage AI/ML to accelerate analysis and assessments.
  • Support RFIs/RFPs, market research, and transition activities.
  • Maintain awareness of DoD acquisition lifecycle and threat env.

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Technology Data Analyst to support Joint Interagency Task Force 401 (JIATF 401). The Technology Data Analyst will conduct technical research, evaluate emerging technologies, and provide analytical support to identify, assess, and integrate innovative capabilities that enhance Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) operations. This position requires expertise in analyzing commercial and government technologies, evaluating operational effectiveness, assessing technical capabilities, and supporting acquisition decisions through data-driven analysis and technical recommendations. The Technology Analyst will leverage Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir, Power BI, AI-enabled analytical tools, and open-source research to identify emerging technologies, evaluate system performance, and support capability development across the C-UAS enterprise.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct technical research and analysis of emerging C-UAS technologies, sensors, effectors, command and control systems, artificial intelligence, autonomy, and related mission capabilities.
  • Utilize Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir, Power BI, Python, and AI-enabled analytical tools to evaluate technology performance, operational effectiveness, and mission relevance.
  • Monitor commercial industry, government research, academia, and defense technology developments to identify emerging capabilities applicable to C-UAS operations.
  • Analyze technical specifications, system architectures, engineering documentation, and operational performance data to assess technology maturity and mission suitability.
  • Support operational assessments, experimentation events, technology demonstrations, and capability evaluations through technical analysis and reporting.
  • Develop comparative assessments, technology roadmaps, capability gap analyses, and recommendations supporting acquisition strategies and capability development.
  • Evaluate system interoperability, integration risks, technical limitations, and operational impacts of proposed technologies across the C-UAS enterprise.
  • Collaborate with engineers, operators, acquisition professionals, scientists, intelligence analysts, and mission stakeholders to identify technology requirements and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Develop dashboards, technical reports, executive briefings, white papers, and analytical products that communicate complex technical information to senior military and civilian leadership.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence tools, machine learning applications, and automated research capabilities to accelerate technical analysis and technology assessments.
  • Support requirements development, market research, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposal (RFPs), acquisition planning, and technology transition activities.
  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, operational requirements, and evolving UAS threats to inform future capability development.
  • Ensure technical assessments comply with applicable security, data governance, and information assurance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology evaluation methodologies, analytical workflows, and innovation processes supporting organizational objectives.
Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
  • BA/BS with 4+ years; AA/AS with 8+ years; or HS/GED with 10+ years.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting technical research, technology assessments, capability evaluations, or systems analysis.
  • Experience utilizing Maven Smart System (MSS), Palantir, or similar enterprise data integration and analytics platforms.
  • Experience developing dashboards, technical reports, and analytical visualizations using Power BI or similar business intelligence platforms.
  • Working knowledge of Python for data analysis, automation, scripting, or technical research activities.
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools, large language models (LLMs), or advanced analytics platforms to support technology assessments and decision-making.
  • Knowledge of systems engineering principles, technology readiness levels (TRLs), systems integration, and capability development processes.
  • Experience analyzing technical documentation, engineering specifications, operational test data, and performance metrics.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to produce technical documentation, executive briefings, white papers, and analytical reports.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts and analytical findings to senior military and civilian leadership.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, acquisition, operational, and analytical teams in dynamic mission environments.

Desired:

  • Experience supporting Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, Homeland Security, or Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) organizations.
  • Familiarity with C-UAS technologies, UAS platforms, sensors, radars, RF systems, electro-optical/infrared systems, command and control architectures, and defeat mechanisms.
  • Experience supporting operational experimentation, technology demonstrations, test and evaluation, or capability development initiatives.
  • Knowledge of the DoD acquisition lifecycle, JCIDS, DOTMLPF-P, Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), and systems engineering processes.
  • Experience supporting CJADC2, data fusion, common operating picture development, or operational decision-support systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments, AI-enabled technologies, digital engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), or autonomous systems.
