Job summary

T3i, Inc. seeks a highly skilled SERE instructor to support the US Army JFK Special Warfare Center and School at Fort Bragg. You will lead SERE training and run scenario-based exercises aligned with the SERE School POI and SOPs.

The role requires four years of military service, DoD SERE Level C completion, a Secret clearance, and the ability to pass pre-hire screenings. Fitness for rigorous activities is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of military service with the rank of E-5 or higher and honorable discharge.
• Graduate of a DoD SERE Level C course.
• Maintain physical fitness to meet PWS training requirements.
• Complete initial and recurring government psych evaluations.
• Secret clearance required.

Job description

Job Summary:

The US Army JFK Special Warfare Center and School (SWCS) conducts Survival, Evasion, Resistance and Escape (SERE) training for Special Forces (SF) and other designated military and government personnel. The SWCS SERE instructors provide training through academic lessons and scenario-based laboratory exercises for program students to accomplish SERE training objectives IAW the SERE School POI and SOPs.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate knowledge and proficiency in applicable SERE instructor requirements including SERE School training SOPs and TRADOC, US Army, JPRA and DoD guidance and policy on SERE requirements and procedures.
• Complete and maintain qualification IAW SWCS SERE School instructor training and qualification standards and processes.
• Proficiently deliver SERE training and instruction to program attendees IAW the SERE School POI and SOPs.
• Assist in the care, maintenance, and upkeep of SERE facilities and equipment as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Four (4) years of service from any military branch, having attained the minimum grade of E-5 within their respective military branch, and an honorable discharge.
• Graduate of a DoD SERE Level C course.
• Maintain physical fitness to accomplish required rigorous physical activity consistent with the SERE program training requirements and the PWS.
• Complete initial and recurring government conducted psychological evaluation by a government SERE psychologist.
• Secret clearance.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Previous instructor experience teaching at a SERE Level C school
• Previous instructor experience teaching in a military training environment, especially high-risk training activities.
• Completion of advanced SERE training programs such as the PR 300 series courses or other JPRA certified PR/SERE training programs.
• Previous active-duty SOF experience conducting tactical ground, air and/or maritime operations.
