Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is seeking a team member to help prepare items for sale and assist in pulling items for the shipping department. The role emphasizes accuracy in valuing items, safekeeping of donated goods, and collaboration with the team.

The position requires high school completion, strong communication, and computer skills. Full-time hours are offered with benefits such as insurance and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills with effective written and verbal communication.
• Strong internet navigation skills.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Meets or exceeds daily production goals.
• Safeguards all GSFB property including donated goods and reports any suspicious behavior.
• Communicates with Manager or Assistant Manager on issues requiring solutions beyond standard protocol.
• Immediately advises supervisor of significant problems and communicates needs with team members.
• Maintains inventory of jewelry on hand for shipment.
• Keeps shipping area stocked with boxes and packing items.
• Maintains work area in a safe, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
