Job summary

Saks Fifth Avenue is seeking a Specialized Operations Associate to support the General Office and Jewelry Department operations under the Assistant General Manager, Operations. You will open the store, manage safes, registers, and reports, process cash and deposits, handle customer issues, and book all jewelry entries in accordance with company standards.

Responsibilities

• General Office: opening the store, safe, controller, registers and distributing reports.
• Maintain daily functions: morning cash entry, processing bank deposits, reconciling chargebacks, counting registers.
• Resolve customer issues, internal and external, including researching/payments and package tracking.
• Jewelry Operations: follow standards, book jewelry and process re-tickets, RTVs, transfers, and shipments.
• Receive, verify, and process merchandise, manage trunk shows, show setup, and statements of sale.
• Communicate with corporate merchants, AP, inventory control and vendors.
• Audit prep and adherence to internal standards; assist managers and associates on the selling floor.
