JEWELRY/STORE MANAGER (Finance)

Position Summary:

Serve as the primary supervisor for the entire location. Maximize the financial performance of the store; achieve growth and sales targets by managing, training, and motivating the sales team. Create an emotional connection between Fred Meyer Jewelers and customers through engagement and communication during every shopping occasion in-store and online. Ensure all associates perform tasks safely, adhering to corporate policies and legal requirements. Desired Previous Job Experience:

• Knowledge of Fred Meyer Jewelers policies and procedures.
• At least 2 years of management experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, First Place, Act, and internet systems.
• Experience in project team participation or leadership.

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, plus at least 6 months as a Fred Meyer Jewelers assistant manager.
• Alternatively, 2 years of retail jewelry experience or relevant education and experience.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Ability to pass a drug test and maintain confidentiality.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, industry knowledge, and willingness to continue education.
• Valid driver's license and completion of Diamond Council of America courses within one year of hire.

Essential Job Functions:

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and promote excellent customer service.
• Achieve sales growth and targets by managing the sales team.
• Maintain profitability through sales, shrink, and expense control.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop store staff for growth and advancement.
• Meet store targets related to sales activities.
• Conduct staff meetings and regular check-ins with team members.
• Supervise and evaluate staff performance; provide feedback and accountability.
• Oversee store operations, including inventory and merchandising.
• Manage scheduling, price changes, recalls, and stock levels.
• Communicate market trends and competitor activities to staff.
• Partner with the host store when inside a Kroger Marketplace.
• Maintain flexibility to work various shifts and holidays.
• Travel for training and meetings as needed.
• Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range: $78,000 - $83,500.
