Job summary

Kay Jewelers, part of Signet Jewelers, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales and maintain store standards. You will support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit targets, foster a customer-focused environment and develop your team through training and evaluation.

Responsibilities include following company policies, recruiting store staff, and performing operational and strategic duties.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience (preferably jewelry or specialty retailer).
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions from written, oral, diagram, and schedule forms.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to customer satisfaction and develop team members through training and evaluation.
• Recruitment and selection of store team members.
• Follow and enforce all Company policies and procedures and perform other operational and strategic duties.
