Job summary

Kay Jewelers, part of Signet Jewelers, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit goals while ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction. You will help lead daily operations, drive performance, and foster a culture of service and integrity.

You will develop team skills through training, recruit staff, enforce company policies, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction.
• Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation.
• Recruitment and selection of team members.
• Enforce all Company policies and procedures and perform other operational duties.
