Job summary

Zales is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to positively impact many lives by supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit projections, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. You will help develop team members, enforce store policies, and recruit staff while upholding our values of integrity, diversity, teamwork and advancement.

We provide training on sales techniques and product knowledge and offer a pathway for career growth within Signet Jewelers.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards and sales.
• Develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation.
• Recruitment and selection of team members; enforce Company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction and strong profitability.
