Desired Previous Job Experience:

  • Sales, retail, and/or jewelry experience

Minimum Position Qualifications/Education:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Commitment to excellence and providing a refreshing shopping experience
  • Goal-oriented, sales-driven, and passionate to succeed
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Essential Job Functions:

  • Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage excellent customer service
  • Achieve personal sales targets (e.g., credit applications, protection plan attachment rates)
  • Promote Diamond Parties and special events with customers
  • Work with teammates to meet store goals, foster a positive atmosphere, and support each other
  • Build emotional connections with customers through clienteling
  • Provide product knowledge and benefits to customers
  • Advise on jewelry quality, cuts, and values; assist in selecting mountings and settings
  • Attend monthly meetings
  • Operate POS and process payments or credit authorizations
  • Inspect and clean jewelry for customers
  • Estimate jewelry and watch repairs
  • Perform watch battery replacements and band adjustments
  • Follow receiving and processing procedures
  • Display merchandise and promotional materials according to corporate plans
  • Perform opening and closing procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • Participate in inventory processes and case counts
  • Work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
