Job summary

Amare Wear in SoHo is seeking an experienced Sales Associate | Welder Lead to guide our new sister brand’s retail store. This on-site role can be part-time or full-time and focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and performing welding tasks to repair and maintain jewelry.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, demonstrating permanent jewelry services, assisting with selections, operating POS, stocking, and educating customers on care and promotions.

Qualifications

• Retail sales experience in jewelry or fashion store.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Strong English communication; bilingual a plus.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
• Ability to perform product demos confidently.
• Excellent customer service and friendly demeanor.
• Knowledge of merchandising and upselling.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Degree or certification in Jewelry Design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and demonstrate permanent jewelry services.
• Help customers choose pieces; upsell where appropriate.
• Operate POS systems and process transactions.
• Maintain a tidy, inviting sales floor and displays.
• Educate customers on care, policies, promotions.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism.
• Support inventory via stock replenishment and record-keeping.
