This role supports the Store Manager by directing staff, delivering exceptional customer service, and advancing through the company training program to prepare for a Store Manager position. The ideal candidate has experience in commission environments, strong communication, and the ability to supervise a team while adapting to varied personalities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in jewelry retail or sales environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management, or equivalent.
• Proven history of selling in a commission environment.
• Ability to supervise others to achieve results.
• Superior communication skills.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Relocation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
• Work as a team in a sales presentation to overcome customer objections and close additional sales.
• Develop selling skills in team members to achieve store goals.
• Provide first response to difficult associate and/or customer interactions in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every Helzberg Diamonds guest.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting top-performing associates.
