Helzberg Diamonds is seeking an Assistant Manager in Springfield, IL, to drive store sales and oversee daily operations while progressing through our training programs for future Store Manager roles.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in jewelry retail, a proven sales record, and strong communication and leadership skills; flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 1–3 years of jewelry retail sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales to exceed personal sales goals.
• Work as part of a team to present to customers and overcome objections to close sales.
• Develop selling skills in team members to achieve store goals.
• Provide first response to difficult associate and/or customer interactions in the Store Manager's absence.
• Provide outstanding customer service to Helzberg Diamonds' guests.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting top-performing associates.
