Job summary

Helzberg Diamonds in Missouri is seeking an Assistant Manager to help drive store sales and oversee daily operations while progressing through our training programs for future Store Manager roles.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of jewelry retail sales experience, a high school diploma, and strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sales experience in a retail environment.
• High School diploma required.
• Experience selling in a commission environment is preferred.
• Ability to supervise others to achieve results.
• Superior communication skills.
• Flexibility to work with a variety of personalities.
• One to three years of jewelry retail experience.
• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, retail management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to relocate is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales to exceed personal goals.
• Work as a team to present sales and close additional sales.
• Develop selling skills in team members to achieve store goals.
• Provide first response to difficult associate or customer interactions in the Store Manager's absence.
• Deliver outstanding customer service to every Helzberg Diamonds guest.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting top-performing associates.
