JEWELRY/PRODUCTION SPECIALIST - QC (Finance)

Minimum qualifications:

  • HS diploma/GED plus 2-3 years jewelry experience or relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum 18 years of age.
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Ability to work weekends occasionally.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.
  • Familiarity with jewelry terms and processes.
  • 4,000 SPH ten-key by touch.
  • Valid driver's license.

Desired qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies and procedures.
  • Jewelry sales, receiving, or accounting experience.
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to operate tagging machines and jewelry system software.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Modeling 'Customer 1st' behavior and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Distributing merchandise via the jewelry system.
  • Tagging jewelry merchandise.
  • Processing merchandise returns and shipments.
  • Verifying receivables against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
