Job summary

Centric Brands is seeking an Assistant Designer to support our jewelry design team, contributing to the creation and development of distinctive fine and fashion jewelry collections. The role offers a fast-paced, collaborative environment with involvement from concept through execution, and a strong emphasis on storytelling and mood boards.

The ideal candidate holds a related degree and 1–2 years of jewelry design experience, with proficiency in Illustrator and knowledge of Rhino/Matrix or ZBrush

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design, Industrial Design, or a related field required.
• 1–2 years of experience in fine or fashion jewelry design preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator; familiarity with jewelry CAD software such as Rhino, Matrix, or ZBrush is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise technical drawings (CADs and hand sketches) using Adobe Illustrator and/or Rhino/Matrix.
• Prepare presentation decks, visual line sheets, and internal review tools.
• Maintain and update records in Product Data Tracker (PDT) sheets, PLM systems, and shared drives.
• Assist in tracking samples and coordinating with vendors for approvals, material updates, and pricing requests.
• Organize and manage the material and sample library, including plating swatches, gemstone references, and archival designs.
• Partner with Senior Designers in early design research, gathering reference materials, trend insights, and seasonal inspiration.
• Assist in conceptualizing initial seasonal ideas that align with the broader product strategy and brand aesthetic.
• Work closely with Product Development, Production, and Merchandising teams to ensure seamless design handoffs and development progress.
