Job summary

Harry Winston seeks a Sr. Jewelry Designer to execute and present rendered design concepts at the highest level.

You will create exquisite designs spanning from the total collection to high jewelry pieces, ensuring brand integrity and client requests. Collaborate with the Art Director on annual High Jewelry and Design Collections, contribute to inspiration through research, and cover four strategic product segments including High Jewelry, Bridal, Collections, and Special Orders.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a leading jewelry design school or equivalent.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a leading Jewelry Design Studio.
• Strong knowledge of gemology is a plus.
• Impeccable knowledge of Photoshop, CAD, Rhino gold software.
• Impeccable knowledge of the Jewelry industry and the competition creative activity.
• Extraordinary mastery of Gouache rendering techniques.

Responsibilities

• Create designs that are marketable, saleable, and meet company objectives.
• Communicate design ideas freely with team members and Art Director.
• Ensure designs reflect HW brand image and client requests, with timely delivery.
• Produce CAD and Photoshop designs to required specifications and quality.

Job description

Responsible for professional execution and presentation of rendered company jewelry design concepts at the highest level. The Sr. Jewelry Designer will create the most exquisite jewelry designs ranging from our total collection to the high jewelry designed pieces.

Key Duties Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Creation of successful designs that are marketable, saleable, and meet the company objectives.
• Understands design work objectives and is able to communicate ideas freely and openly with others.
• Ensures that all designs are provided on a timely basis with the greatest attention to requirements needed.
• Ensures that all designs reflect HW brand image as well as the client’s requests.
• Performs accurate creation of CAD and Photoshop format designs, as required.
• Performs in bringing to the Winston’s creation modernity and renewalwhile keeping all the highest standards of quality requested by the Brand.
• Participate together with the Art Director to the elaboration of the annual High Jewelry Collection and Design Collection. This includes an intensive period of search and documentation for inspiration.
• Responsible for covering the 4 major strategic product segments for the Brand: High Jewelry, Bridal, Collections and Special Orders.
• Capable of addressing a brief based on a price objective (knows to interpret into carat weight) and has a strong knowledge of stones.

Job Qualifications:

• Graduate of a leading jewelry design school or equivalent
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in a leading Jewelry Design Studio
• Workshop experience is a plus with very good knowledge of gemology
• Impeccable knowledge of Photoshop, CAD, Rhino gold software
• Impeccable knowledge of the Jewelry industry and the competition creative activity
