Job summary

Shop LC in Austin, TX is seeking a Casting Specialist to join our jewelry manufacturing team. You will operate casting equipment, prepare wax models, invest molds, and handle metals to produce precision components while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, attention to detail, and the ability to work with metal casting processes in a fast-paced production setting. Prior jewelry casting experience is a plus, but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical jewelry manufacturing training is a plus.
• Experience in jewelry casting or manufacturing preferred but not required.
• Must work with precision and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with handling metals and casting equipment.
• Physical stamina for a production environment.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor casting machines to produce jewelry components.
• Prepare wax models, invest molds, and handle metals during melting and pouring.
• Follow established production processes to maintain product quality.
• Inspect finished castings for defects and ensure proper finishing.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the casting area.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and report technical issues to supervisor.
• Adhere to Shop LC safety and compliance guidelines.
