Job summary

Shop LC in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled Bench Jeweler to join our jewelry repair department. The role focuses on repairing, resizing, setting, and maintaining pieces to Shop LC quality standards.

You will work with precision using jeweler's tools and safety practices, collaborating with a team to deliver timely, high‑quality repairs for our customers.

Minimum 4 years’ experience, CBJ certification, and gemstone/diamond setting expertise are required to join our growing team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Bench Jeweler.
• JA Certified Bench Jeweler (CBJ).
• Gemstone and diamond setting skills required.
• In-depth knowledge of gemstones and diamonds; plating solutions and repair processes.

Responsibilities

• Repair, resize, set, and maintain jewelry per Shop LC quality standards.
• Repair broken clasps, pins, rings by soldering or replacing parts.
• Resize rings using different metals.
• Restore damaged jewelry and polish pieces for quick turnaround.
• Reshape aged jewelry following designs using hand tools and machines.
• Cut and shape precious metals into jewelry pieces with tools.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain inventory of supplies.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
