Riddle’s jewelry is seeking an eager Jewelry Buyer to shape our product assortment across 70+ locations in Rapid City, SD. You’ll analyze sales and inventory, partner with vendors, and lead buying initiatives to drive profitable growth while enjoying a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

Based in Rapid City, you will own assortment planning, vendor negotiations, and lifecycle management, with opportunities to influence category direction and customer experience in jewelry and accessories.

Formación

• 3–5+ years of retail buying, merchandising, or product planning experience.
• Retail buying or product experience in jewelry, fashion, or accessories is a plus.
• Degree in Merchandising, Business, or related field preferred.
• Experience managing vendors and negotiating product programs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute assortment strategies aligned with company goals and customer preferences.
• Analyze sales performance, trends, margin, and inventory metrics to drive profitable decisions.
• Create and manage seasonal and core assortment plans across designated categories.
• Lead planogram development, case layouts, and merchandising standards to maximize presentation and sell-through.
• Build and maintain strong vendor partnerships, negotiating pricing, terms, and exclusives.
• Participate in and lead vendor meetings and new product development initiatives.
• Identify emerging trends and new opportunities in fine jewelry and fashion categories.
• Oversee purchase order process including SKU setup, order placement, receiving coordination, and vendor follow-up.
• Manage inventory levels, forecasting, replenishment, allocation, and category performance.
• Monitor open-to-buy and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
• Lead vendor return strategy and product lifecycle management.
