Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, An Oshkosh Company, seeks an entry‑level Laborer at our Ogden, Utah facility to support production of aviation ground support systems. You’ll rotate across departments, read work orders and blueprints, move materials, and assist with assembly using hand, air, and electric tools.

Safety and teamwork come first in our fast‑paced environment. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and climbing.
• Comfort using basic hand tools and tape measures to 1/16".
• Basic reading, math, and comprehension skills to follow instructions and part drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist production operations with assembly, materials handling, and general labor tasks.
• Read and follow work orders and blueprints to complete jobs safely and accurately.
• Move materials, pick parts, and help manage inventory and shortages.
• Use hand, air, and electric power tools for basic fabrication or finishing work.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and meet daily housekeeping expectations.
• Understand and follow Jetway quality procedures and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Develop skills to grow into specialized production roles across the facility.

YOUR IMPACT

Minimum Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and take direction in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform physical work including standing, bending, climbing, and using ladders
• Comfort using basic hand tools and tape measures to 1/16"
• Basic reading, math, and comprehension skills to follow instructions and part drawings
• Ability to work day or night shift, including weekends and holidays
• May require forklift or overhead crane certification depending on assignment
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check, drug test, and hearing test

Standout Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, construction, or production environment
• Familiarity with Syteline or other production tracking systems
