M&&Pipe Services in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Jet/Vac Truck Operator – Lead to drive field operations and oversee sewer jetting and vacuum work on federal, industrial, and municipal projects.

You will step into a pivotal leadership role, taking over crew leadership to help double our field operations and directly impact project margins, safety, and on-time delivery for high-profile clients. Travel nationwide with overtime potential and a strong focus on training and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL.
• 1–3 years of jet/vac truck operation experience.
• Willingness to travel 100% with overnight stays.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs in all weather conditions.
• Experience maintaining profitable job site margins.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field operations, driving the jet/vac truck and overseeing line cleaning and jetting on federal and industrial job sites.
• Operate combination sewer trucks, high-pressure water jetting systems, and vacuum booms safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections and execute routine field maintenance to keep equipment fully operational.
• Manage on-site mechanical challenges and keep daily production schedules strictly on track.
• Enforce Confined Space Entry procedures, traffic control protocols, and company safety standards across all operations.
• Document daily production metrics, including cleaning footage, water usage, and waste disposal logs.

Jet/Vac Truck Operator – Lead High-Impact Civil Projects with M&&Pipe Services

Job Overview

• Company: M&&Pipe Services
• Salary/Pay Rate: $55,000 - $75,000 per year (Bonus on meeting production goals)
• Location: Knoxville, TN (100% Travel Required)
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time
• Schedule: 5x10 Schedule (Monday – Friday)
• Project Scope: Industrial, Government, and Federal Underground Utility & Trenchless Pipe Rehabilitation
• Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Class B CDL

You will step into a pivotal leadership role as we prepare to double our field operations from two to four crews. By taking over crew leadership directly from the company owner, you will personally drive half of our business revenue while maintaining high-margin job sites. This is your chance to secure a high-visibility position in a growing family-owned business where your field leadership directly impacts company expansion.

How You Will Make An Impact

• Lead daily field operations, driving the jet/vac truck and overseeing line cleaning and jetting on federal and industrial job sites.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL B).
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience operating jet/vac trucks equipment.
• Maintaining profitable job site margins.
• Full availability to travel out of town on a 100% basis with overnight stays.
• Ability to handle heavy vacuum hoses and lift up to 75 lbs in all weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Trade Program or Technical Certification in a related civil utility field.
• OSHA 10/30 and Confined Space Entry certifications.
• Experience in trenchless pipe rehabilitation around live utilities.
