Job summary

Guildner Pipeline Maintenance is seeking a Jet Vac Operator to operate jet vac and hydro excavation trucks for cleaning and excavations in Colorado. CDL A or B is required; prior heavy equipment experience is preferred; you must pass a physical, drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate jet vac and hydro excavation trucks through the course of a job using high pressure water and vacuum systems for cleaning and excavations.
• Hydro excavating to pothole, trench and locate utilities; jet flush city sewers, storm sewers and farm lines; vacuuming pits as needed.
• Maintain equipment and keep it clean inside and out.
• Follow company policies.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Read maps/prints and plan tasks accordingly.
• Work alone or as part of a team.
• Maintain accurate timekeeping and document services performed.
• Be mechanically inclined; perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.

GPM’s business consists of sewer and storm water maintenance, pressure/vacuum testing, cure in place point repairs and manhole rehab. Essential Job Responsibilities

• Operate jet vac and hydro excavation trucks through the course of a job using high pressure water and vacuum systems for cleaning and excavations.
• Work includes but is not limited to hydro excavating to pothole, trench and locate utilities, and also jet flush city sewers, storm sewers and farm lines along with vacuuming of car wash pits and farm pits.
• Responsible for maintaining equipment and keeping it clean inside and out.
• Responsible for following company policies.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read maps/prints.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Effective timekeeping, time management, and documentation of services performed on the job.
• Mechanically inclined - some repairs to equipment may be necessary.
