Job summary

PURIS is hiring a Jet Truck Vactor Operator in Pasadena, TX. You will safely operate vacuum trucks to remove waste, liquids, and sludge from client sites, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

A CDL Class A or B is preferred, with a strong emphasis on accuracy, teamwork, and proactive problem solving. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within our triangle of water, wastewater, and stormwater projects.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong communication and interaction skills.
• Must be accurate, detailed, reliable and able to follow orders on projects & tasks with minimal supervision.
• Ability to be proactive and troubleshoot.
• CDL Class A or B experience preferred for vacuum truck operation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maneuver a CDL Class A or B vacuum truck in compliance with safety regulations.
• Remove waste materials, liquids, sludge, and debris from tanks, pits, and vessels.
• Utilize vacuum equipment and attachments to complete cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vacuum trucks and report issues.
• Maintain documentation of waste removal activities and disposal records.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate equipment needs to supervisors.
