Modern Litho in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Halm Jet Press Operator to ensure high-quality print production from setup to finish. You will review job tickets, select paper weight, mix ink, and maintain image quality and registration throughout production.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely delivery, with a day shift 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Overtime may be required as part of a collaborative production team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years related experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Good mathematical skills to compute percentages, weights, and measurements
• Ability to work independently
• Basic computer skills to enter data for time, materials, and costs
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform pulling, pushing, reaching, stooping, and standing activities for the entirety of the shift
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Ability to participate in shift rotations

Responsibilities

• Follow all established company and departmental policies, procedures, and production standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Promptly report any unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel
• Comply with all safety guidelines and always demonstrate safe work practices
• Demonstrate reliability through consistent attendance and punctuality
• Carefully follow written instructions on the job ticket to meet customer requirements and support on-time delivery
• Enter data into computer systems to accurately record time, materials, and costs.
