Qualifications

• Experience as lead operator on digital web presses.
• Strong knowledge of digital press operation, color management, and workflows.
• Experience in commercial print or direct mail preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends if needed.

Responsibilities

• Directly oversee and operate industrial digital presses, ensuring consistent, high-quality production.
• Lead setup of print jobs based on work orders, oversee media selection and press adjustments.
• Manage color accuracy, registration, and quality control throughout runs.
• Diagnose and resolve press issues, perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with prepress and finishing to ensure production readiness.
• Maintain documentation of job details, metrics, and maintenance activities.
• Uphold safety protocols and keep the pressroom organized.
