Job summary

Rolls-Royce is seeking a Technician at the Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. The role is onsite on the 3rd shift (9pm–7:30am) with a 10% premium and involves testing jet engines, troubleshooting faults, and performing preventative maintenance and calibrations. You will join a 24/7 team and support safety-first operations.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED and be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a safety mindset, always putting safety first.
• Receive engines from other sites, and prepare them ready for test.
• Installing the engine package onto the outdoor test stand.
• Operate the engine, following a precise test schedule.
• Respond to engine and facility issues with efficient troubleshooting.
• Assist the facility engineering team with projects and tasks.
• Carry out facility PM activity, fault finding and improvement activities.
• Effective communication to fellow team members at shift handovers.
