Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a Parts Prep Operator- 3rd Shift in Sedalia, MO to perform jet engine piece part cleaning and abrasive blast processes. The role reports to the Coatings Supervisor and operates at our Sedalia center.

Responsibilities include cleaning, surface prep, and following precise work instructions while maintaining safety and quality. Candidates should be able to read diagrams and handle heavy equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or relevant work experience.
• Must speak, read and write English fluently.
• US work authorization is required.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check will be completed.

Responsibilities

• Cleaners will remove grease, corrosion products, and prepare parts for the next overhaul step.
• Complete forms according to procedures.
• Perform abrasive blast activities for cleaning, coating prep, and surface treatment.
• Maintain and control equipment, tools, and safety gear for shop orders.
• Load/unload hardware with hand, forklift, or crane.
• Follow detailed work instructions under limited supervision.
• Ensure safe working practices and a clean work environment.
• Cross-functional team member with gas turbine abrasive blast process skills.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Relevant work experience in lieu of education

English fluency (read/write)
