Job summary

M1 Support Services, LP in Texas provides a range of DoD support services and is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and component removal/installation on USAF assets. You will use technical data, schematics, and directives while conducting inspections, servicing, and engine work; ensure compliance with safety, FOD prevention, tool control, and environmental programs.

Qualifications

Knowledge of jet aircraft systems and use of common aircraft hand tools is required.
Ability to read and comprehend technical data is required.
Completion of high school or equivalent is required; specialized courses desired.

Responsibilities

Perform aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and component removal/installation using technical data and schematics.
Conduct inspections, servicing, and engine removal/installation while following safety, FOD, tool control, and environmental programs.
Operate ground support equipment and document discrepancies prior to use.
Maintain maintenance records in accordance with USAF and company directives.
Order parts and supplies as needed and follow applicable maintenance directives.
