Job summary

M1 Support Services' Aircraft Mechanic performs maintenance, troubleshooting, and component removal/installation using technical data, schematics, and directives. Conducts inspections, servicing, and engine removal/installation while ensuring safety, FOD prevention, tool control, and environmental programs.

Maintains maintenance records to meet USAF and company requirements. Operates ground support equipment, supports aircraft movement, and orders parts as needed.

Qualifications

• Jet aircraft systems knowledge required.
• Ability to read and write and to comprehend technical data.
• Eighteen (18) months of general aircraft maintenance experience required.
• One (1) year experience in past three (3) years on applicable aircraft or completion of a familiarization course required.
• Possession of a valid driver's license to obtain flight line driving privileges.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance, troubleshooting, and component removal/installation using technical data, schematics, and directives.
• Conduct inspections, servicing, and engine removal/installation.
• Operate ground support equipment and assist aircraft movement.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation to meet USAF and company requirements.
• Order parts and supplies as needed.
