Job summary

M1 Support Services is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and component removal/installation using technical data and schematics. You will conduct inspections, servicing, and engine removal/installation while ensuring safety, FOD prevention, tool control, and environmental program compliance.

The role requires knowledge of jet aircraft systems, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to read and interpret complex technical data.

Qualifications

18 months of general aircraft maintenance experience required.
One year in past three years on applicable aircraft or completion of a specific aircraft familiarization course is required.
Ability to read and interpret technical data is required.
Valid driver’s license is necessary to obtain flight line driving privileges.
High school graduate or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

Use schematics, drawings, charts and technical publications to remove/install engines and components.
Comply with FOD prevention, safety, tool control, and environmental programs.
Perform aircraft conditional inspections and servicing tasks.
Operate ground support equipment and document discrepancies.
Maintain maintenance records in line with USAF and company directives.
Order parts and supplies as needed.
Follow all technical data, manuals and maintenance directives.
Participate in towing/movement of aircraft during maintenance.
