Position: JDE E1 Techno-Functional Consultant

Location: New York City, NY(Hybrid 3 days onsite in a week)

Job Description:

Position Overview:

The client is seeking a hands-on JDE E1 Techno Functional Consultant to design, develop, implement, and support custom solutions within Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne. The consultant will bring strong Sales and Distribution domain knowledge and will own technical delivery from requirements through post-deployment hypercare closure.

This is an individual contributor role. The selected consultant must be able to complete development end-to-end, work directly with business and technical stakeholders, and deliver production-ready solutions without people-management responsibility.

Core Responsibilities:

Customization and Development:

• Design, code, test, and deploy custom JDE applications, UBE reports, business functions, and named event rules.
• Develop and modify UBEs, NERs, BSFNs, forms, reports, processing options, versions, UDOs, and workflows.
• Build JDE Orchestrations and support custom solutions through unit testing, user acceptance testing, production deployment, and hypercare.

Technical Specifications and Functional Delivery

• Analyze functional requirements and translate them into clear, detailed technical design specifications.
• Map As-Is processes to To-Be processes and configure core Sales and Distribution functionality to support approved business changes.
• Partner with functional teams to validate solution design, test results, data impacts, and production readiness.

Integration and Data Conversion

• Develop and maintain integrations between JDE and third-party systems using BSSV, REST APIs, AIS Services, Real Time Events RTE, and third-party connectors.
• Create data-load scripts using Z tables, Excel, and SQL. Execute data conversions and validate data quality and reconciliation results.

Configuration Security and Support

• Configure system setups, roles, segregation of duties, row security, UDO security, and related access controls.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis. Support JDE EnterpriseOne implementations, upgrades, and ongoing production maintenance.

Required Skills and Experience

• JDE E1: Hands-on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.1 or 9.2 experience, with deep knowledge of the Sales and Distribution module.
• Development: Proven ability to design, code, test, debug, and deploy UBEs, NERs, BSFNs, forms, reports, and custom applications.
• Orchestrator: JDE Orchestrator development is mandatory. Must be able to build and support orchestrations for business processes and integrations.
• Debugging: Strong BSFN debugging skills are required, including root-cause analysis and defect resolution across the development lifecycle.
• Functional Delivery: Ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications and map As Is to To Be business processes.
• Finance: Experience with JDE Finance modules is preferred but not required.
