Job summary

AIG invites a JD student to join the Summer Intern program in the Claims department for a 9‑week, in‑person experience. You will gain hands‑on exposure to litigation processes, working with our global team on varied matters and leadership‑led projects.

Successful candidates will be on track to earn a JD by June 2028 and will participate in mentor-led sessions, masterclasses, and networking events during the summer.

Qualifications

• Candidate for a JD degree to be received no later than June 2028.

Responsibilities

• Apply law degree to a wide variety of litigation matters.
• Learn to manage litigation from filing to appeal.
• Assist in evaluating claims and reporting on trials.
• Support negotiations and presenting to senior management.
